Terms of Service (Dispute Resolution & Use of Platform)

1. Purpose of the Platform
CSS.ink (“the Platform”) provides tools that allow users to submit dispute information and receive AI-generated suggestions for potential compromise or resolution.
The Platform is designed to assist communication and decision-making. It does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or binding determinations.
2. No Legal Advice
By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that:
- All outputs are informational and suggestive only
- The Platform does not act as an attorney, mediator, or arbitrator
- You are responsible for evaluating any suggested compromise before accepting it
3. Agreement to Alternative Dispute Resolution (AAA)
By submitting a dispute to the Platform, all participating parties agree that:
If the parties are unable to reach a resolution using the Platform and choose to pursue formal dispute resolution, they will:
- First attempt mediation, and if unsuccessful,
- Proceed to binding arbitration
Both mediation and arbitration shall be conducted through:
The American Arbitration Association (AAA)
Additional Conditions:
- The parties agree not to pursue litigation in court except where required by law or where arbitration is not enforceable.
- Arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with AAA rules applicable to the nature of the dispute.
- The location (in-person or virtual) may be mutually agreed upon or determined under AAA rules.
4. Requirement to Submit Outcome and Feedback
If a dispute proceeds to mediation or arbitration outside the Platform, all participating parties agree that:
The final decision, settlement, or arbitration award will be submitted back to the Platform. The submission will include:
- A summary of the final outcome
- Any reasoning provided by the mediator or arbitrator
- Feedback on why the Platform’s suggestions were not sufficient or used
Additionally:
The mediator or arbitrator may be requested (but not required) to provide:
- Observations about missing information
- Suggestions for improving clarity, fairness, or completeness of the Platform’s outputs
5. Use of Submitted Data
By using the Platform, you grant CSS.ink a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to:
- Use submitted dispute information
- Use outcomes, decisions, and feedback
- Analyze patterns and resolution effectiveness
This data may be used to:
- Improve AI models
- Enhance product features
- Refine dispute resolution suggestions
Privacy Note:
Personally identifiable information may be anonymized or aggregated where appropriate. The Platform will take reasonable steps to protect sensitive data but does not guarantee absolute confidentiality.
6. Voluntary Participation
- Use of the Platform is voluntary
- Acceptance of any suggested compromise is voluntary
- Participation in mediation or arbitration is agreed to only if the Platform process does not resolve the dispute
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
CSS.ink is not liable for:
- Decisions made by users
- Outcomes of disputes
- Reliance on AI-generated suggestions
The Platform does not guarantee:
- Fairness
- Accuracy
- Completeness
- Enforceability of any suggested resolution
8. Good Faith Use
Users agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information to the best of their knowledge
- Participate in good faith
- Not misuse the Platform to manipulate or misrepresent disputes
9. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting a dispute or using the Platform, you acknowledge that:
- You have read and understand these terms
- You agree to be bound by them
- You agree to the dispute resolution process described above
10. AI-assisted decision feature
If you use the feature that sends the same question to multiple AI providers and receives a synthesized or tie-breaking response, you agree that those inputs and outputs are subject to Sections 2, 5, 7, and 8 above, and that no single model output is legal advice or a binding outcome.
